| Wow....Xanga, I have forgotten about you.
Summer does not feel like summer...it's been unusually nice, cool weather and I'm working all the time and have not taken a vacation yet. That's going to change in about 2 weeks though!! Adam bought me tickets to visit him over the first week of September. During that week, we will be traveling to Switzerland for 3 days to hike in the Alps. I'm incredibly excited.
Mom and Dad were here a few weekends ago for a visit. It was good to see them again and catch up on all that is going on back home. I'll be home on September 1st for a few hours as I have a 10 hour layover in Newark on my way to Germany. I'm looking forward to seeing Chandler and Heidi!!!
Other than that, life moves on as normal. The business is going well and we've been pretty busy over the past few weeks. Not sure how long I will continue to wait tables at Bob Evans...it's nice having the extra cash coming in.
Well, that's it from me!

| So, I'm headed to California in 9 days to see Adam!! He flew out of Germany this morning and will be in CA for 3 weeks. On May 8th, he heads back to Germany for a few days before deploying. I won't see him again until sometime in September.
Other than that, not too much else is going on. We've gotten a few new apartments and houses to clean. This past weekend was Thunder over Louisville, but I wasn't able to go because of work. Adam's brother, Joel, came for the weekend with 2 of his friends and they had a great time. I was able to visit with them on Friday night when they got here. It was supposedly the best weather in the history of Thunder. I was jealous....
It has been really crazy weather here...80's one day, 40's the next. It POURED rain yesterday and so far is doing the same today. I'm hoping I'll get some nice weather in Cali, but Adam says to expect rain and cooler temps. We'll see!
I'm off to the gym.

| Ok, so it's been a few months since I updated this. Overall, things have been good. I'm still in love with Kentucky and am so glad I moved here.
Our business (Dust Bunnies, LLC) has not picked up as much as we would have liked by now. We'd like more of a stable schedule, but right now we clean a leasing office every other Wednesday and then we clean move outs whenever there is one. Which is difficult because we could have 3 move outs one week and then nothing the next. Katryn got a 2nd job at Bob Evans in the evenings and I've been thinking about also getting a 2nd job. I'm not sure if I want to get back into waitressing though, but we'll see.
Adam and I are doing great. The long distance is hard, but I think it will be good for us in the long run. He has a blog that he updates whenever he gets a chance...feel free to check it out: http://adambarr.wordpress.com/ He will be in CA at the end of April for some training classes but just told me yesterday that because they are having a huge inspection in June he was unable to take leave and come visit after the training. On the upside though, he wants to go to Costa Rica in July and wants me to come. His sister, Abby, is currently there doing mission work so we'd get to visit her as well. July seems like such a long way away... He know has internet at his house, which has made it easier to keep in touch. It's nice to be able to talk to him everyday...even if it's just for a few minutes. With the 6 hour difference, he is usually headed to bed and I'm just starting my evening. I am so thankful that God has put Adam into my life and I am very much in love.
Other than that, there's not too much going on. We've been going to the gym quite frequently and have taken up swimming. It's great! Sometimes we go later at night and it's very relaxing to swim a few miles and come home to sleep. I find I sleep much better having had a solid workout that day.
Well, I don't know if anyone even reads Xanga posts anymore, but if not I guess it's kinda like a journal for myself that I can look back on later.

| Whoops...keep forgetting about updating this thing.
Katryn moved in with me over Thanksgiving...it's been interesting to say the least. We are starting our own cleaning business after New Years.
She and I are driving up to NJ for Christmas next Monday...looking forward to being back and getting to see everyone.
Gretel and Dwight get married on the 27th!!! I also leave for Germany later that evening...I can't wait!!! I'm thinking that New Years in Europe is going to be pretty awesome and being able to spend it with Adam will make it even better.
Hope everyone enjoys their holidays!!
